this was painted on my family's farm in august 2006. it was a challenge to stand outside in the shifting sun watching the mess of flowers wave in the wind. i love this painting and will be sad to see it go.

I am sitting in a comfortable chair by a fake fire in a nice cafe on the corner of Hollis and Morris in halifax, NS. It's December 24th and it's raining outside. Your paintings on display here are beautiful. I love the sunflowers.
